How do I become a KayCee Club member?
Typically, there is an average of a 6-7 year wait from the time your information is submitted. Once your name comes up, a an email will be sent to you prior to the upcoming pool season. If you move, please call the KayCee and give your updated contact information.

How much does a membership cost?
Membership is $900 annually. There is also a one-time Membership Fee of $600 your first year. This covers maintenance and improvements to the facilities.

What do I need to check in at the pool?
All pool members must have current pictures of all members on their account on file. At the Gatehouse please provide either your last name or account number to the gatehouse attendant prior to entering the pool area. Misuse or disregard of the KayCee Swimming Pool Guidelines could result in the loss of pool use and/or pool privileges with NO REFUNDS.  The ONLY authorized entry for the pool is through the Gatehouse. Do not enter through the main building, the KayCee ballroom or bar.

Can I bring in my own food?
The KayCee Club offers a flavorful menu available daily from the full-service Cantina. Outside food and drinks cannot be brought in the pool gates.  This includes water per TABC law.  You may bring your own cups or water bottles, but the MUST BE EMPTY.

Can I bring guests to the pool?

Yes, pool members may bring up to 6 guests after June 17, 2024. There is a $10 guest fee for all guests, swimming or not regardless of age.  Members must be present and come to the gatehouse to sign guests in, as well as stay as long as their guests are at the pool. Members are responsible for their guests’ behavior and adherence to the KayCee Pool Guidelines.

Can I plan a party at the pool?

Yes, pool members can book parties at the KayCee Club. Call the KayCee Club after opening day. Due to the popularity of the pool opening week, parties are not able to be booked until after June 3, 2024. Visit our Parties page for more information. Does the KayCee Club offer swim lessons?

What are the bathing suit and diaper requirements at the KayCee Pool?
All swimmers must wear proper swimming attire while in the pool area. Proper swimming attire is a swim suit. Boys’/Men’s swimsuits must have interior netting. Athletic shorts, cut-offs, or other non-standard swimwear is not allowed.

All children not fully toilet trained MUST wear Swim Diapers. Swim Diapers are available from the Gatehouse for $5 each. Regular disposable or cloth diapers are NOT allowed in the pool. Please do not change diapers on the pool deck, chairs or tables. There are baby changing stations located in both pool restrooms.

What are the rules for the wading pool?
The use of the Wading Pool is restricted to children 5 years old and under. Lifeguards are stationed at the Wading Pool, however it is not the guards’ responsibility to entertain or babysit. It is the parents’/guardian’s responsibility to watch and supervise their toddlers and young children while in the Wading Pool.

Are there scheduled “pool breaks” at the KayCee?
To help prevent fecal contamination accidents in or around the pool, the KayCee Pool implements regularly scheduled pool breaks. Breaks are 10 minutes prior to each hour beginning at 11:50 AM. These breaks are designed specifically for children to be taken to the restroom. During these breaks, both pools are closed to anyone 17 years or younger. Children must stay behind the blue decking and may not play with adults who are in the pool.

What is the inclement weather policy?
At the first sign of lightning, pool members will be asked to leave the pool immediately and seek shelter on the upper deck. The pool will remain closed for 30 minutes post last lightning strike witnessed. It is up to the on-duty pool manager when the pool will re-open for swimming.
